North Carolina Resources:
NCATP: The North Carolina Assistive Technology Program: Links to an external site. Is a state and federally funded program that provides assistive technology services statewide to people of all ages and abilities. NCATP leads North Carolina's efforts to carry out the federal Assistive Technology Act of 2004 by providing device demonstration, short-term device loans, and reutilization of assistive technology.
North Carolina Augmentative Communication Association (NCACA) Links to an external site.: is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing information and support to individuals with complex communication needs, their families and the professionals who serve them.

Adobe Color Accessibility Checker Links to an external site.: This is a great resource that lets you check the colors that you are using for presentations, websites, etc. to ensure that they will be usable by all. The site includes both a Color Blind safe checker and a Color Contrast checker. The color blind safe checker will show you how various colors will appear to someone with different types of color blindness. The color contrast checker will compare two colors based on the AA and AAA WCAG 2.1 standards and show you when the colors used will pass compliance.
