Introduction

In this portion of the module students will examine the changing economy of North Carolina and its impacts by exploring the biggest industries in the state.  Teachers may wish to divide up the secondary resources among students [note: some texts are longer than others]. The aim here is to trace the evolving economy in the state and some of the unintended consequences.
