Below are some ideas for connecting the information in the module to your life as an active citizen in North Carolina:

  • Write a letter to a member of the General Assembly describing an important issue in North Carolina today. Be sure to not only describe the issue, but suggest at least one solution.
  • Attend a local protest that addresses a modern North Carolina issue. Write a social media/blog post about your experience.
  • Identify a company who’s work is problematic in modern North Carolina. Write a letter/email to that company about the issue, offering alternatives.
