The Cold War may have started at the end of World War II, but the went on for decades afterwards arguably not ending until the 1990s. While the conflict had many effects around the world as the USA and the USSR vied for advantage in many different areas and in many different ways, this module focuses on the ways that the Cold War changed the United States and North Carolina.
