Below are some ideas for connecting the information in the module to your life as an active citizen in North Carolina:

  • Write a letter to the editor of a magazine, newspaper, or news website telling people that we should either be less afraid to go to war or that we should be more cautious about going to war based on the effect it is likely to have on prosperity.
  • Create a video and upload it to an internet video site about the effect that war has on the prosperity of people in the world.
  • Have a discussion with 5 adults about the question of if war brings about prosperity. Tell them your thoughts on the issue, present to them your evidence, listen to their ideas about the issue, and respond to their ideas and questions.
