Below are some ideas for connecting the information in the module to your life as an active citizen in North Carolina:

  • Write a letter to the US Department of State’s office asking them to either become more involved in global issues or more isolated from them, providing evidence of why you think they should act in that way.
  • Write a detailed social media post(s) about why the US should either be more connected to or more isolated from the rest of the world.
  • Take a group of people to a local World War II monument/memorial and explain to them why US participation in the war was either good or bad.
