There are a variety of websites with free online resources for one or more of the 18 World Languages taught in North Carolina that have been shared by educators, groups, organizations, and publications involved with World Language education.

Greek (Ancient & Modern)

  • Commentaries for Latin and Greek Links to an external site. - Dickinson College's online collection of Latin and Greek texts for reading, with explanatory notes, essays, vocabulary, and graphic, video, and audio elements
  • Open Greek and Latin Project Links to an external site. -  International collaboration creating an open educational resource featuring a corpus of digital texts, deep-reading tools, and open-source software

  • StaEllinika Project Links to an external site. - Collaboration of the SNF Centre for Hellenic Studies and the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad in the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deliver new tools for Greek language education to the diaspora including this project which features materials for learning the Greek language, as well as information about mythology and culture. Details about the app and login for teachers are posted on this website.
