The proficiency-based 2010 and 2024 North Carolina Standard Course of Study (SCoS) for World Languages are aligned to the national standards for World Languages, as shown in the Crosswalk document Links to an external site..

ACTFL has print and eBook versions of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages Links to an external site. in a variety of languages, including ASL, Arabic, Chinese, Classical Languages (Latin and Greek), French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Scandinavian Languages (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish), Spanish, and Yoruba.

In addition, the Standards for Classical Languages (2017) Links to an external site. and the Standards for Learning American Sign Language (2022) Links to an external site. are aligned to the SCoS for World Languages.
