*In IB sequences for students in Heritage Language programs or DL/I Continuation programs, IB Language A may be offered in another language, if there are students with high proficiency in the language who need placement beyond IB Language B courses. Taking two IB Language A (English and another language) courses that focus on language and literature with a score of 3 or higher is one way of obtaining a bilingual diploma.
