The Creating a Professional Culture Based on Social and Emotional Learning course is designed as part of an online professional learning series developed by Integrated Academic and Behavior Systems. The intent of the series is to support teachers, administrators, and school staff's understanding of what social and emotional learning (SEL) is and its importance, as well as to explain how to implement and integrate SEL into their respective contexts in a culturally responsive way.	Although most of the learning activities within the course can be accomplished alone, we strongly encourage teams (e.g., grade-level teams, school/district leadership teams, and professional learning communities) to take the course together, particularly because of the nature of SEL being something we inherently must understand in relation to others. If you use this course within a team, you can pause and discuss the material that is relevant to your setting as it comes up. This approach allows you to maximize the online content while simultaneously applying new knowledge. Throughout the modules, you’ll find opportunities for common action planning and extension activities that also are best done collaboratively. However, if you are participating in the course individually, please know there are opportunities for collaboration embedded throughout the course.	10-Hour Course, Self-Paced 1.0 CEU Participants can receive a total of 1.0 Continue Education Credits for this course. Course Credit can be earned as a General Credit or a Digital Teaching and Learning Credit. Decisions regarding Course Credits are made by LEA. This course is designed for school and district-level teams that are linked and working closely with their respective, school or district MTSS/Leadership Team.	The Core Social and Emotional Learning Practices in an MTSS course is a Canvas course and is designed for teams that are directly aligned/connected with the District MTSS Team.	MTSS Coordinators must complete this survey to obtain the registration link for all team members.
