The Purpose of This Resource Hub

The ELD Standards Resource Hub has been created as a resource and informational center for:

• all Public School Units (PSUs) to assist them
• in meeting the State-designed long-term goals of progress towards English language proficiency, and
• in meeting the challenging State academic standards.
• with effective teacher and principal preparation,
• effective professional development activities, and other effective activities related to the education of multilingual learners

• all educators in
• improving teaching skills in meeting the diverse needs of multilingual learners,
• increasing
• the English language proficiency of multilingual learners, and
• student academic achievement

The purpose of the resource hub is not to endorse a particular curriculum or template, but to provide ML educators with resources for planning, delivering, and improving aligned instruction.
