Below are several state and national partnerships the NCDPI K-12 Math team maintains to support the teaching and learning of mathematics.

North Carolina Collaborative for Math Learning (NC2ML)-The North Carolina Collaborative for Mathematics Learning (NC2ML) is a statewide partnership committed to empowering mathematics teachers with a shared vision for high-quality math instruction. NC2ML is a research-practice partnership that includes The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, as well as universities and school districts across the state. Through this partnership, teachers, district and state leaders, mathematicians, and researchers work together to support mathematics education in North Carolina. The site provides numerous resources for K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 teachers, along with school and district leaders.

North Carolina Council for the Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM) -An affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), NCCTM's membership includes teachers from all levels, kindergarten through graduate school, and other professionals who work with curriculum and materials for the teaching of mathematics.

Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators of North Carolina (AMTE-NC) - This is the North Carolina branch of AMTE, the largest professional organization devoted to improving mathematics teacher education, with over 1,000 members dedicated to the preservice education and professional development of K-12 mathematics teachers.
